Fandom: Static Shock
Character/Pairing: Richie Foley/Virgil Hawkins
Richie Foley, Virgil Hawkins
Word Count: 6684
Summary: "This is the story of how Richie Foley fell in love with his best friend and never ever told him."
Why I Rec This Fic: My fav thing about this fic was the like, sense of place, that just touched me. I also really liked the references to the bigger DC universe (I have consumed only very very little other DC stuff but I like how it makes the world more real, there are other stuff going on)
The relationship between Virgil and Richi is perfect and makes me happy, Virgils dad is also done well.
"He's not going to abandon Dakota the way the car makers have, the way the politicians try to every year by slowly strangling the schools and the roads and the rest."
